Graham Jackson - guitar, vocals, harmonica...AKA Jack Renshaw...with over 2000 gigs under his belt, this guy has the chops - an all-round musician and IT professional, part-time photographer, milkman, skindiver and rodeo clown. Also appeared in 1,000 movies (the first few hundred are exciting, but then it becomes just a job). In his own words: "People say to me all the time, "wow, you’re a genius. You’re adorable,"...hey, I’m just telling you what people say to me." But for the moment, you can see his photo work at:
Frank Austin - drums, percussion...his vast experience in all styles of music assures the percussion essentials of the blues and much more. Frank has played drums since he was 12 years old and started gigging at 15 with a Beatles cover band. Did Motown gigs around Michigan thru his teen years and was associated with a number Barry Gordy local bands including “The Motown Sound with Tanya Hinton”. At nineteen he had a stint with a backup band for Don Ellis- the innovative quarter tone jazz trumpet player who wrote the score for the first “French Connection” movie. Later his days in Indianapolis were built around corporate bands and jazz gigs to earn his way through Architecture school. Over 30 years in Atlanta he now concentrates on Blues and the craft of pocket drumming. You can see his architectural work at:
Bill Snyder - bass guitar...I don't know how we got lucky enough to be able to work with Bill. He's a class act with a real ear for what fits, and he always fits it in just right.
That didn't sound weird, did it? Anyway...
We're all music veterans who are still as excited about what we're doing as we were when we were mere underlings in the vast musical jungle.
We're a blues band that likes to play blues standards in new arrangements, and we specialize in taking musical material that's uncommon to the blues and bending it to our will...!!
We welcome any opportunity to deliver the best blues experience in the Atlanta area!
